Rachel Durchslag is an avid hiker who has spent the last five years trekking some of the world’s most magnificent mountain ranges. When not traveling, Rachel works in the healing profession, providing a range of alternative therapies to help people recover from trauma and create more room for joy in their lives.
Prior to her healing work, Rachel was the founder of the Chicago Alliance Against Sexual Exploitation, a nonprofit where she served as executive director. In her role there, she was dedicated to ending sex trafficking and sexual assault in Chicago.
Rachel is delighted to call Asheville, North Carolina, her home. She shares her life with amazing friends, her wonderful husband, Matt, and their mischievous dog, Maggie.
