Lifelong lover of the outdoors whose favorite therapist is Mother Nature.
I was introduced to camping and hiking as a very young child by my father and grandfather. I family camped all of my life and took up hiking about 10 years ago and backpacking soon followed.

I was introduced to hammocking and Hangcon through a mutual friend both Paul and I know. Karri Conga, trail name of Dos. I attended my first Hangcon 8 years ago in 2015 with Dos, and it was my first-time meeting Skunkape/Paul.
That is also about the time I was introduced to hammocking and elevated my perspective to sleeping off the ground.

I am a hiking and backpack leader as well as a teacher for Suncoast Outdoors. I also started and lead an annual backpack challenge called the Citrus 43 four-day Backpack challenge in the Citrus tract of the Withlacoochee state forest. I work in the backpacking department for Bill Jackson's Shop for Adventure, in Pinellas Park FL. They have been in business outfitting folks for adventure for 75 years.

Currently section hiking the AT for the past six years and have over 700 miles completed. As well as many, many hundreds of miles in the US and in Europe. I I thru_ hiked the Foothills trail as well as the Camino Portuguese coastal route.
