Mr. Mocks was founded in 2017 by Weston Barnes in Grasslake, MI. Weston, who learned to sew by making clothes for his mother's dog Maddie, started the business by hand- sewing each hammock in the early years. Fueled by Weston's lifelong passion for the outdoors and his dissatisfaction with the quality and prices of hammocks on the market. Weston set out to create high-quality, affordable hammocks that everyone could enjoy.
Weston and Maria began dating and shared a love of the outdoors and bringing others into nature which drove Mr. Mocks forward. Maria manages the social media marketing and sales. Weston designs all products and is constantly working to come up with new designs. Together, they strive to rival competitors in both quality and price, while also providing their customers with everything they need to start adventuring immediately.
