Oh my, where do I start? Former photojournalist, art director, and map illustrator. Life-long cyclist. Recently content creator by my nickname "Salty Beard" on YouTube specializing in bikepacking, and gravel cyclist. I'm the cycling uncle everyone wishes they had in the family, empowering & inspiring cyclists to adventure beyond their boundaries. After numerous cycling and skiing injuries, sleeping on the ground is a painful process. Hanging in a hammock is the solution. I may not call myself an expert, but I've picked up a few tricks over the past 5 years and about 200-300 nights hanging.
